Questo dipinto originale a olio su tela è un omaggio contemporaneo al celebre dipinto Basket of Fruit del grande maestro italiano Caravaggio.

Basket of Fruit – Tribute to Caravaggio | Original Oil Painting

This original oil painting presents a contemporary tribute to the famous still-life masterpiece Basket of Fruit by the Italian master Caravaggio.

At the center of the composition, a woven basket overflows with fruits and leaves rendered with careful attention to natural detail: grapes, apples, figs, and autumn foliage create a vivid arrangement that celebrates the beauty and fragility of nature. The composition echoes the poetic realism of Caravaggio’s still life, where ripe fruits and slightly withered leaves remind the viewer of the passage of time and the ephemeral nature of abundance.

Integrated into the lower part of the painting are two historical Italian banknotes preserved in protective transparent sleeves. These are “sister banknotes”, belonging to the same sequential series, an element that adds a rare and collectible dimension to the artwork.
